Across its measured field, Weighted Pressure turns geometric force into a study of containment and release. The clustered forms seem to press toward one another without settling into a single order, creating a tension between structure and interruption. Its abstraction feels less like a code to decipher than a record of competing energies held briefly in balance.
The dense middle band carries the greatest insistence, while the paler spaces above and below allow that pressure to register through contrast. Rectangular forms meet irregular ones at uncertain boundaries, suggesting a world assembled from decisions that remain open to revision. The composition invites attention to what is held together, and to what may still separate.
Color gives this internal struggle its changing temperature. Sudden notes of yellow and orange flare against darker passages, while cooler blues, greens, and violets temper their urgency rather than resolving it. The result is contemporary and unsettled, with each block contributing to a larger rhythm of resistance, pause, and renewed movement.
