VEILED GLOWING depicts interwoven Celtic knot patterns carved into stone, glowing softly in low light. Thick palette knife strokes give the surface a physical, sculpted presence.
Paint is layered and partially scraped back, allowing underlying tones to emerge and interact with light.
The scene feels intimate and tactile, encouraging slow, reflective viewing.

Within a concentrated language of interlacing, Veiled Glowing turns repetition into a meditation on continuity and interruption. Its braided geometry seems to hold itself in suspension, as though each passage depends on the next while never fully revealing where the pattern begins. The cool central radiance gives this order an inward intensity, drawing attention toward what remains concealed between its crossings.
The recurring diamond-shaped openings complicate the sense of enclosure. They read as absences, but the muted amber and copper within them suggest that something persistent lies beyond the dark recesses. Around the edges, the deeper tones make the luminous center feel less like an arrival than a threshold - a place where clarity and uncertainty remain closely joined.
There is a disciplined calm in the near symmetry, yet the design never settles into perfect balance. Its diagonals seem to tighten and loosen across the field, creating a rhythm that can feel ceremonial without belonging to any fixed tradition. The work invites sustained attention to the space between connection and separation, where an intricate order can remain mysterious even when every passage appears deliberately linked.
