This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
TENDER SILENT depicts interwoven Celtic knot patterns carved into stone, glowing softly in low light. Thick palette knife strokes give the surface a physical, sculpted presence.
Paint is layered and partially scraped back, allowing underlying tones to emerge and interact with light.
The scene feels intimate and tactile, encouraging slow, reflective viewing.

Within its close, interwoven architecture, Tender Silent turns repetition into a meditation on connection and restraint. The forms seem to hold one another in a continuous embrace, yet their crossings leave narrow openings where separation remains possible. Rather than offering a fixed symbol, the work sustains a feeling of belonging that is intimate but not entirely secure.
The central lattice gathers warmth toward its upper reaches, while cooler shadow settles around the edges. This movement of light gives the composition the atmosphere of something remembered in fragments - a structure sensed more deeply than understood. Its dense arrangement rewards attention without resolving into a single narrative.
The recurring openings create a measured rhythm, and the overlapping bands suggest continuity without perfect symmetry. There is tension in that balance: order appears present, but it depends on constant adjustment. The work can be approached as an image of bonds that endure precisely because they leave room for mystery and distance.
A small pale mark near the lower right quietly interrupts the enclosing darkness, less a conclusion than a sign of persistence. Against the mauve, coral, and deep blue passages, it gathers the work's inward energy into a moment of fragile clarity. The surrounding silence feels active, held together by forms that seem to remember their way through one another.
