A restless rhythm of abundance gives Open Field its particular charge, where order keeps emerging from continual change. Interlocking arcs press closely against one another, creating a sense of movement that never settles into a single direction. The work feels less like a view of somewhere than an encounter with pattern as a living force - gathering, repeating, and breaking open in the same breath.
Its saturated blues, turquoise, reds, violets, and warm yellows do not resolve into a fixed hierarchy. Instead, they create shifting alliances, so that a bright passage can appear to advance while a darker band quietly gathers weight beside it. The density leaves little room for detachment; attention moves through the composition by instinct, following one curve until another claims it.
There is playfulness here, but it is not weightless. The repeated forms suggest a disciplined pulse beneath their exuberance, as though freedom depends on returning to a structure and altering it slightly each time. That tension makes the work feel continually active - not a pattern to decode, but an energy that renews itself through variation.
