Leonid Afremov has several canvases dedicated to famous people, particularly to musicians – thus, in this one he depicted the king of blues –BB King in perhaps his best years. If you are interested in the career of this musician who, by the way, left us not so long ago at a rather respectable age, then you will surely remember his image at one of his most famous concerts – he closed his eyes in a whirlwind of colors that swirled him better than his songs. He is dressed as usual to the nines –he has a chic suit that includes shirt, jacket, pants and a bow, of course – an essential attribute of the costume of every bluesmen. 2. Riley B. King was born September 16, 1925 in Itte Bene, Mississippi, USA. He served in the army during World War II (1939–1945), and after demobilization he returned to a cotton plantation. On weekends, he played blues on the streets of the nearest cities.
3. In 1948, Riley managed to sing at WDIA radio station of Memphis, and since then he has increasingly begun to appear on the air. For performances he adopted a more catchy name –

Blues Boy King or BB King.
