This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
THICK FORM presents dominant abstract shapes anchored by dense texture and restrained background tones, rendered at an exaggerated scale that fills the canvas.
Thick palette knife strokes build ridges, edges, and layered surfaces that give the paint a sculptural quality.
The composition balances raw energy with controlled structure.

Its compressed geometry gives Thick Form a charged sense of order, as if competing forces have been held briefly within a single field. The work does not settle into a scene or symbol; instead, it invites attention toward the unstable boundary between structure and impulse. Dense color relationships make that tension immediate, with darker passages pressing against brighter interruptions and refusing a single emotional register.
The tall central grouping becomes a point of negotiation rather than a focal answer. White, lavender, orange, and black gather there with an almost architectural insistence, yet their irregular edges keep the arrangement from becoming fixed. Around it, broader bands seem to absorb and redirect the energy, suggesting a mind moving between concentration and release.
What remains is an abstract field that feels assembled from decisions still carrying their original urgency. Horizontal and vertical pressures cross without resolving, while teal and turquoise in the lower-right passage introduce a cooler countercurrent to the warmer center. The work holds its intensity through this balance: neither pure disorder nor completed harmony, but a sustained moment in which order is continually being remade.
