THE AUTUMN ARCHWAY - FRAMED

Autumn gathers into a passage of shadow and radiance in The Autumn Archway, where the enclosed path seems to hold two times at once: the nearness of falling leaves and the promise of open distance. Its warm canopy draws the gaze inward, making the bright opening feel less like a destination than a change in attention. The surrounding darkness gives that invitation its depth, suggesting that arrival begins before the way has ended.

The parallel trunks create a measured rhythm, yet the scene does not feel rigid. They lean toward one another overhead, forming a shelter that is both protective and gently confining. Along the path, the scattered shifts of amber, gray, and muted lavender keep the journey from becoming purely golden; they introduce the cooler thought that every season of warmth contains its own fading.

At the center, light remains deliberately beyond reach. This distance allows the work to rest between recollection and anticipation, as though the woodland were preserving a moment just before someone steps forward. The enveloping autumn air feels serene without becoming still, held in balance by the dark borders and the luminous opening that continues to draw the eye.
