TURQUOISE CANOPY RISE - FRAMED

Seen from beneath a living vault, Turquoise Canopy Rise turns an upward glance into a passage between enclosure and release. The surrounding branches gather with almost architectural force, while the luminous opening at the center offers no fixed destination, only a sudden sense of distance. Its turquoise and aqua radiance feels less like an illustration of sky than an interruption in the density of the woods - a moment when attention breaks free.

The canopy holds a productive tension between shelter and exposure. Dark limbs press inward from the edges, but the scattered gold, orange, and violet notes keep the foliage from becoming fully closed or solemn. They suggest life continuing in fragments, glimpsed rather than explained, as though the view is changing while it is being observed.

What gives the work its charge is the way brightness remains surrounded by complexity. The open sky does not erase the branches; it makes their twisting presence more apparent, turning the image toward a reflection on how refuge can also frame longing. Looking upward here becomes an act of orientation, guided by light without ever becoming certain of what lies beyond it.
