This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
SILENT VOLUME presents broad, simplified forms arranged with intentional imbalance, emphasizing mass and negative space, rendered at an exaggerated scale that fills the canvas.
Thick palette knife strokes build ridges, edges, and layered surfaces that give the paint a sculptural quality.
The composition balances raw energy with controlled structure.

Against the pressure of vast, unspoken space, Silent Volume considers how silence can acquire weight and direction. Its dark, stepped formations gather like withheld statements, while the pale opening beyond them keeps the scene from settling into pure enclosure. The imbalance feels deliberate: presence accumulates at the edge, yet attention is drawn toward what remains open.
A broad expanse of cool air and ground separates the viewer from the nearest mass, creating distance that feels less empty than charged. The block-like forms seem to mark stages of passage without offering a clear destination. Small muted-orange interruptions lend the otherwise restrained world a human measure, though they remain too slight to resolve its remoteness.
At the center, light does not erase the surrounding severity; it gives the silence a farther reach. The landscape becomes a meditation on endurance, on what holds its shape when explanation falls away. Its stillness is not passive, but structured by pressure, absence, and the persistent pull of an opening beyond the dark forms.
