Emotion ocean

Leonid Afremov’s painting can truly be called the ocean of passion and feelings. It depicts the most sincere human emotions. We see the image of a man and a naked woman in a rather extravagant pose – the man seems to hold her in his arms – one his hand rests under her waist, the other rests under her knee while he tilted his head caressing her nipples. A more sensual posture is hard to imagine. The figures of a man and a woman are blurred. But you can still imagine that the man is dressed quite formally. A white shirt and a tie are visible through the strokes. In our opinion, this gives the picture additional emotionality and passion. After work, the office employee decided to go to pieces and succumb to temptation plunging into the ocean of desires, passion and emotions.

It is surprising that the artist used rather dark colors and shades in an unusual manner to depict the background of the canvas. Thus, on the canvas we find such colors as green, turquoise and different shades of blue. But in the end it is a sea painting! They seem to cool down the passion that burns in the canvas. Among the other colors that the artist used, you can highlight the yellow spot in the upper left corner. It is very warm and adds some tenderness to the canvas.
