Little voyage

Leonid Afremov, a great impressionist of our time, is ready to present to your attention his painting Our Little Boat included in his series of autumn paintings. This time the central place of the painting is taken by the boat sliding on the quiet surface of a park lake. The painting as usual is filled with the whole palette of autumn colors. To the traditionally autumn - red yellow and orange - are added such colors as purple, turquoise, different shades of blue and even pink. They invariably create a magical atmosphere and make any painting very attractive.

So, we see a boat with a couple on board - it's a young couple who decided to spend their day in this amazing autumn park. Despite the autumn weather and little rain - the girl holds an umbrella in her hands - they are dressed quite lightly. On the girl we see a light white dress while the man is dressed in a shirt and trousers. This creates additional warmth that illuminates this painting. We can conclude that these people, even in such inclement weather, are warmed not by clothes but by warm feelings towards each other – this is certainly love. Calmly swaying on the smooth surface of the autumn lake they enjoy this delightful nature and its magical colors. They are so happy that they do not think about nothing in the world plunged completely into their dreams.

The shore of the lake is bordered by the lanterns, the light from which falling on the autumn foliage of the trees fills the painting with additional shades. Behind the lanterns begins an amazingly beautiful forest. The colors of the painting give the impression of some fantastic creatures dwelling in this forest, but they are all exceptionally good and you should not be afraid of them.
