MUSEUM OF DUAL MAGIC - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

At the heart of this divided gallery, Museum of Dual Magic presents a threshold between two distinct ways of seeing. The room appears to hold itself in suspension, drawn toward the luminous boundary where warmth gathers on one side and cool shadow withdraws on the other. It feels less like a passage than a force that separates and connects at once.

The golden radiance near the fireplace gives the left side an atmosphere of welcome, yet the symmetry keeps that welcome from becoming entirely secure. Across the room, the blue-lit furnishings and darker recesses suggest another order - more reserved, watchful, and difficult to enter. Neither side fully overcomes the other.

The framed works along the walls deepen this tension. They resemble witnesses to a division already underway, while the central glow turns the gallery into a place where perception itself seems to change. The reflected light on the floor carries that uncertainty outward, making the boundary feel present beyond its immediate source.

What remains compelling is the absence of a final resolution. The room offers no stable answer about which realm is real, safer, or more complete. Its drama lies in the continuing pull between invitation and distance, revelation and concealment, as though the gallery were holding two incompatible moods in a single breath.
