about this painting:

Hidden Meaning in Every Painting

The name of this beautiful abstract piece is Bouquet in the light. Leonid Afremov has painted it using a palette knife and oil paints. Can you see these colorful strokes? Do they catch your attention? That’s the artist’s signature technique called impasto. In his virtual gallery you can find many outstanding abstract art paintings with description. Every one of them will touch your feelings and tell you a story from Leonid Afremov’s life. Most of his canvases have a deep meaning hidden behind a pretty picture. Let’s look at what we can see in this beautiful abstract art painting. There is a vase of roses, two oranges, a lighted table lamp and a clock. Where do you think you can find the hidden meaning here? You’re right if you say it’s hiding in the most blurry object of this painting, the clock. Maybe that’s why the artist decided to depict two faded roses laying on the table as nothing can control time?

The Mechanism of Time

When we are born, the mechanism of time starts its run: minute after minute, day after day, year after year. When we are kids we don’t even think how quickly time passes. When we are teenagers we mistakenly consider that we have plenty of time as our whole life is ahead of us and we’ll have enough time to complete everything we want to do.  In adulthood, we start thinking that our years are beginning to decline. We get so disappointed that we used to dream big and imagine wonderful pictures of our bright future. But where are they now? Why haven’t they come true? We try to make an excuse by blaming circumstances, people and other things, because it’s so difficult to admit that you and only you at some point in life missed or misunderstood something, didn’t change some things at the right time, or wasted your free time.

Things that Devour Our Time?

  1. Internet, social media, cell phones, TV.

Are you one of those people who texts while having dinner with his family? Do you check Facebook when you hang out with your friends, or eat in front of the TV ignoring your family? There are so many people who put their phones down only when they sleep. They post pictures, watch videos, repost someone’s wise thoughts etc. It might be useful sometimes; however, you do need to spend time with your family. Otherwise, when your children grow up, they won’t even be able to recognize your face as it’s always obscured by a Smartphone.

  1. Complaining about life

Can you calculate how much of your time you spend complaining about your salary, your boss,  your neighbors  and other things? What’s the use of it? When we complain we don’t change anything, we just want to feel sympathy from others. We only surround ourselves with negative energy which, in its turn, attracts more negativity in our life. It destroys our life and dreams.

  1. Uncertainty and not planning for the future

If we completely don’t plan our day, don’t know what we want to have in a year time, we waste too much of our time.  We follow instantaneous desires and emotions. It’s nice, of course, to live in the present and enjoy it; however, you need to have a direction to float to. Even going shopping requires having a goal. Otherwise, we’ll spend money, time and energy. It’s fun to let yourself loose sometimes: spend a lot of money, sleep in, be lazy and watch a couple of movies; although, it should be an exception, not a rule.

  1. Pastime with people.

We spend much time with people who take too much of our energy and are not beneficial for our development. The best case scenario is that we stay on the same level; however, more often we degenerate. We should surround ourselves with those who make us better, motivate and inspire us, make us grow.

  1. Lack of sleep

Sleep plays a great role in our life. Some people are too busy to sleep. They seem to think if they sleep less they’ll complete more. It’s a myth. Very important chemical reactions happen in our brain when we sleep. If don’t get enough sleep, our brain can’t function efficiently and it does affect our life.

  1. Not enough exercise

Everyone knows that a healthy diet and good exercise are important for our life; however, not everyone follows this rule. We keep killing ourselves and our dreams with tons of junk food, unhealthy habits and an inactive lifestyle. And how much time do we waste on them?

After you purchase this beautiful painting you’ll never forget about time. You’ll always remember how important it is not to waste a single minute on things that are not beneficial for you and your family.
