about this painting:
Evening touch of horizon
Perhaps looking at this Evening Touch of Horizon artwork you will say that you have already seen something similar in Leonid Afremov’s gallery but our task is to convince you of the opposite. Agree, each picture has its own unique features and this canvas is no exception. The painting is called the Evening Touch of Horizon and this touch is only in the center of the canvas – it is there that we find the brightest colors in the center of which is the sun – a natural light. Around there is a rather large clot of orange and yellow colors. They are very warm and we literally feel this warmth through the canvas. Then there are darker colors – we find them first of all on the right where the clouds gather. The artist depicted them using dark blue paint. But what is special about this painting? The fact that the sky has a kind of second floor, for the image of which the artist used blue and white paints. It seems that on this second floor is even a different time of day and a different weather – a clear noon. In general, this is what is called heavenly paint. It is so light that it feels light through the canvas. In general, the entire picture of the artist literally breathes lightness and tranquility. You can imagine how comfortable the characters of this painting feel – they navigate the open spaces on floaty sailboats. The rays of the setting sun glide over their skin leaving a slight tan. The sun caresses their faces reflecting in the sail. There is a slight rustle of waves. And it seems that a little more and the boats will be so light that they can fly up to the sun just where the air paints fill the horizon. If you look closely, you can see two more ships right on the horizon. It seems that they also froze motionless basking in the rays of the setting sun.
Beauty of the sun
Of course, looking at this painting you too will certainly want to enjoy something like that. And we know several places where you can meet similar beauty. So we present to your attention three places on Earth where you can meet the most beautiful sunsets:
- Grand Canyon, Arizona
- Angkor Wat,
Feel the lightness of evening colors by Leonid Afremov!
