This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
AUTUMN TOGETHER depicts a couple standing close near a reflective lake shore, bodies touching in spring with blooming trees and fresh reflections with colorful trees mirrored in the lake surface, rendered with bold palette knife strokes and saturated color.
Thick layers of paint create glowing reflections on water and ground, emphasizing texture and movement.
The silhouettes remain faceless, focusing attention on mood, season, and shared presence.

At the edge of reflected change, Autumn Together holds companionship as a form of attention - two people standing close enough for the surrounding season to feel shared rather than merely witnessed. Their faceless presence leaves the relationship open, less a declared story than a moment of mutual stillness within a vivid, unsettled world. The work’s warmth comes from nearness, while its surrounding darkness gives that nearness depth.
The figures remain at the water’s margin, where the bright central opening meets the more sheltered trees. Below them, broken reflections loosen the boundary between presence and remembrance, suggesting how a shared moment can continue inwardly after the place itself has fallen silent. The red note in one figure’s clothing adds a small insistence of individuality without breaking their sense of togetherness.
A larger tree gathers the right side into shadow, keeping the scene from becoming simply idyllic. Beyond it, bands of flowering and autumnal color seem to hold different seasons in the same breath, as though tenderness here includes change rather than resisting it. The pair stand neither at a destination nor in retreat, but in that suspended interval when being beside someone becomes its own kind of shelter.
