WOVEN CATHEDRAL - FRAMED

Between the darkened skyline and the waiting square, Woven Cathedral turns arrival into a passage between uncertainty and welcome. Its illuminated entrances hold the eye like thresholds rather than destinations, offering warmth without dispelling the surrounding night. The building’s height gives that invitation a solemn scale, as though private hesitation has been placed before something enduring.

The small figures near the central doorway remain almost absorbed by the architecture, and their presence makes the scene feel less like a spectacle than a moment of approach. They could be visitors, passersby, or simply measures of the vast façade - their ambiguity preserves the work’s contemplative tension. The cathedral seems to gather the scattered life of the surrounding city without fully revealing what lies beyond its doors.

Across the dark foreground, broken reflections loosen the solid forms above into shifting bands of light. This unsettles the apparent permanence of the building, suggesting that even places of refuge are encountered through change, weather, and passing perception. The adjoining windows extend that feeling outward: small signs of human presence that keep the monumental center connected to an unseen, continuing life.
