WILD SEASON - FRAMED

Four watchful presences gather at the edge of untamed feeling in Wild Season, where closeness suggests both kinship and alertness. The animals do not appear to advance or retreat; instead, their shared orientation creates a charged pause, as if the surrounding growth has drawn them into a single moment of attention. Their vivid markings heighten the sense that instinct here is not hidden but fully awake.

The clustered heads give the work an unusual emotional tension. Each figure seems distinct, yet the overlapping arrangement makes their awareness collective, turning the group into something more than a gathering of separate creatures. Around them, dense leaves and scattered blossoms press inward, offering no clear boundary between refuge and enclosure. The foliage feels alive with possibility, but also with the pressure of a world that cannot be controlled.

Against deep greens and shadowed passages, flashes of turquoise, violet, red, and yellow keep the scene in a state of heightened energy. This intensity resists a single reading: the animals may embody fellowship, vigilance, or the raw persistence of life among competing forces. What remains constant is their concentrated presence, holding the wild close without making it tame.
