Seen from beneath the enclosing branches, Turquoise Canopy Rise turns an upward glance into a passage between shelter and openness. The dark limbs gather around a luminous center, making the sky feel less like a distant expanse than an invitation to keep looking. The canopy does not settle into a single season or hour. Turquoise, violet, green, and warm gold move through the leaves with the shifting impressions of light filtered by depth, while the bright openings remain calm and nearly weightless. This tension gives the work its particular atmosphere: grounded by the trees, yet continually drawn toward what lies beyond them.

Several twisting branches cross the view with an almost architectural authority, but the finer twigs loosen that order.
