TO THE FINISH

TO THE FINISH — A charged study in motion, this painting gathers stylized horse-like forms into a tightly clustered sweep of color. Its energetic arrangement conveys momentum, tension, and the raw vitality of expressive abstraction.

Several overlapping forms angle diagonally from the upper center toward the lower right, creating a sense of forward movement. A dark angular shape anchors the central area, while pale gray and white forms extend across the foreground. Cobalt and deep blue strokes surround the grouping, joined by lavender, violet, turquoise, green, ochre, yellow, pink, red, and black. Broad, directional marks build a heavily textured surface, with contrasting light and dark passages producing vivid highlights across the lighter forms. The suggested equine figures remain deliberately simplified, allowing gesture and color to lead the composition rather than precise anatomy.

Its dramatic palette and vigorous brushwork bring immediate energy to contemporary interiors, creative workspaces, and spaces centered on movement or nature. The diagonal structure can enliven a quiet wall, while the layered forms reward closer viewing with shifting relationships between color, texture, and shape. A compelling choice for collectors drawn to abstract animal imagery, expressive painting, and bold visual rhythm.
