THE COLOR OF MEMORY - FRAMED

Between recognition and sensation, The Color of Memory turns recollection into a living, unstable atmosphere. Nothing settles into a single subject; instead, the work asks how feeling can return in fragments, carrying warmth, urgency, and a trace of what cannot be fully recovered. Its energy is not nostalgic in a gentle sense. Memory here seems active, almost unruly, reshaping itself as it rises.

The clustered movement through the center suggests moments gathering before they become a story. Gold, coral, and red press against deeper blues and teals, creating the impression of warmth emerging from something more shadowed. The contrast gives the work an emotional charge without assigning it a fixed narrative. It may recall the way a familiar place or face appears inwardly - vivid in one instant, indistinct in the next.

As the eye moves across the overlapping shapes, no final point of focus resolves the experience. The composition remains open to association, allowing memory to feel less like an archive than a current that continually changes direction. Beneath its brilliance is a sense of persistence: not the preservation of a moment exactly as it was, but the way it remains capable of returning with new intensity.
