The French Fire

In his famous painting, the beautiful cityscape, Leonid Afremov depicted the Norman coast – several houses standing in a straight line and yachts moored to the pier – you won’t find anything like that in the works by modern artists. It cannot be said that the painting depicts exactly Normandy since such houses can be found in many European cities. For some of you, such a landscape will even remind Venetia, the canal city. Here everything is as if taken from the water city– canal and yachts standing on the berth. Oh no! Everyone knows that the Venetians use gondolas.

Let's say a few words about the palette that the artist used – in the painting dominate blue shades.
