SUNMANTIS FIELD EDGE - FRAMED

At the edge of sleep and vigilance, Sunmantis Field Edge turns a field into a threshold where instinct seems to rise above the ordinary. The mantis holds the right side of the scene with an alert, almost ceremonial presence, while its antennae reach into a sky scattered with small points of light. It feels less like an intruder than a sentinel stationed between the last warmth of day and the deepening night.

The low horizon lends the scene a hidden source of energy. Golden light catches the lower edges of the figure and the bending plants, suggesting that the darkness is not empty but gathering around something still alive and watchful. Against the blue distance, the mantis becomes a study in suspended attention - poised, patient, and difficult to place within any familiar scale.

Its luminous eyes introduce a subtle tension: the creature appears to observe the field, yet the field seems equally capable of concealing what it knows. Tall stalks close around the foreground, turning the open landscape into a private passage toward the glowing horizon. The result is dreamlike without losing its sharpness, holding wonder and unease together in a single nocturnal moment.
