This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
SUMMER BENCH depicts two people walking together along a lakeside path covered in fallen leaves in spring with blooming trees and fresh reflections against a softly glowing sky, rendered with bold palette knife strokes and saturated color.
Thick layers of paint create glowing reflections on water and ground, emphasizing texture and movement.
The silhouettes remain faceless, focusing attention on mood, season, and shared presence.

At the path’s glowing threshold, Summer Bench turns companionship into a way of inhabiting time rather than passing through it. The bench faces the open water, yet the scene feels less like an arrival than a pause held deliberately between departure and return. Warm light gathers beyond the trees, making the shared silence of the seated figures feel generous rather than secluded. The surrounding season remains beautifully unsettled - blossom and fallen leaves belong to different moments, joined here by the calm of evening.
The faceless pair keeps the work from becoming a fixed story. Their presence is intimate but unclaimed, allowing the viewer to sense the small trust of sitting beside someone while the world continues outward toward the horizon. Dark trunks contain the brightness without closing it in, and the coral glow extending along the path suggests memory becoming vivid at the instant it begins to recede. What remains is not a declared romance, but a tender recognition of togetherness as its own destination.
