This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
STRETCHED LAYER presents oversized geometric and organic forms colliding at the center, creating tension through scale and contrast, rendered at an exaggerated scale that fills the canvas.
Thick palette knife strokes build ridges, edges, and layered surfaces that give the paint a sculptural quality.
The composition balances raw energy with controlled structure.

At the heart of visual collision, Stretched Layer turns opposing forces into a meditation on order under pressure. Forms gather, press inward, and interrupt one another, yet the composition never loses its sense of deliberate balance. The work feels less like a scene than a charged field in which structure is continually being tested by impulse.
A bright vertical passage cuts through the center, functioning as an interval rather than a resolution. Around it, saturated reds, pinks, and oranges carry an urgent warmth, while cooler blues and muted browns introduce resistance and delay. The division suggests a boundary that does not separate so much as hold competing energies in sustained contact.
Dark bands near the edges and across the middle give the composition a firmer rhythm, tempering its exuberance with moments of weight. Nothing settles into a single emblem or fixed interpretation; the forms remain active, as though meaning is assembled and rearranged each time the work is considered. Its intensity comes from that unresolved balance between cohesion and fracture.
