STREET ENERGY FLOW - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

Movement gathers before it resolves, and Street Energy Flow turns that pressure into a study of collective momentum. Its nonrepresentational field suggests a city understood less as architecture than as force - routes crossing, signals colliding, and attention drawn toward a shared point of intensity. The work feels charged without offering a fixed narrative, leaving its urgency open to the viewer’s own associations.

The bright circular cluster slightly below center acts as a moment of concentration rather than a destination. Around it, sweeping bands and interrupted forms seem to accelerate, divide, and return, creating the sensation of an urban pulse that cannot settle into a single rhythm. The contrast between luminous passage and surrounding darkness gives this movement a psychological edge: attraction is present, but so is resistance.

What remains is an atmosphere of energized uncertainty. The red and orange arcs carry a sense of outward force, while the cooler radiating passages temper that heat without diminishing it. Black forms interrupt the flow like pauses in a crowded signal, making the composition feel less like a map than an encounter with momentum itself - immediate, restless, and continually reorganizing.
