Across a field of rising forms, Soft Layers treats renewal as a gathering force rather than a single event. The overlapping shapes seem to press upward together, their varied directions suggesting growth that is generous, unruly, and still becoming. Brightness here feels less like decoration than an opening - a release from whatever has held the composition in place.
The central clustering gives that movement a sense of companionship. Coral and orange emerge beside pale pinks, greens, blues, and violet, allowing warmth and coolness to coexist without settling into harmony too easily. Their proximity creates a playful tension, as though distinct impulses were finding a shared rhythm while retaining their separate voices.
Toward the lower center and right, darker accents interrupt the buoyancy and lend the work a deeper register. They keep its freshness from becoming naïve, suggesting that renewal can carry memory, resistance, or the weight of what came before. The result remains open and bright, but its optimism has been given enough complexity to feel earned.
