SILENT SHOUT RESOUNDS - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

At the heart of its turbulence, Silent Shout Resounds turns inward toward a darkness that feels less like an ending than a force gathering itself. The spiral does not settle into a fixed emblem; it suggests pressure, release, and the unstable instant when feeling becomes impossible to contain. A luminous sweep from the left presses toward the center, giving the work an urgent sense of motion without directing that motion toward any particular conclusion.

Around the dark opening, violet, red, and blue currents seem to fold back upon one another, creating a tension between expansion and withdrawal. The composition feels charged by opposing impulses: to speak and to remain hidden, to break outward and to be drawn deeper in. Small pale accents interrupt the surrounding intensity like brief recognitions within a larger disturbance.

What remains most compelling is the work’s refusal to resolve its central pull. The brightest passage offers no simple relief; it carries the same volatility as the shadowed arcs that contain it. In that suspended encounter between radiance and obscurity, the painting holds emotion as an active, changing pressure rather than a message with a single meaning.
