An ancient dinosaur impulse takes shape through Silent Object, where the subject feels less like a reconstructed creature than a force remembered in fragments. Its elongated presence crosses the surrounding turbulence with a grave, almost planetary momentum, keeping the work suspended between recognition and abstraction.
The diagonal body resists the calmer pull of the horizontal bands around it. That tension gives the form an unsettled authority, as though it were emerging from a world that cannot fully contain it. The image does not insist on a single reading; it allows the dinosaur to become emblem, remnant, or inward pressure.
Color sharpens this ambiguity. Turquoise and yellow suggest a sudden clearing, while the darker reds, purples, and blacks gather the form into something denser and more difficult to name. Brightness does not dispel the drama here - it intensifies the sense that the figure is moving through competing states of memory.
At the lower right, the concentrated darkness gives the composition a point of consequence, as if the creature’s weight has momentarily settled there. Yet the upward sweep prevents finality. The work holds extinction and persistence in the same gesture, making its silence feel active rather than empty.
