SCARLET SWING - FRAMED

Within a charged field of opposing forces, Scarlet Swing turns floral suggestion into a language of motion and release. The vivid forms seem to gather momentum as they rise, overlap, and press against the surrounding darkness, creating the sense of energy caught at its most expressive instant. Rather than depicting a particular bloom, the work evokes the feeling of being drawn outward by color, impulse, and sudden brightness.

The sweeping red and orange mass below gives the composition a grounded intensity, while smaller gestures lifting through the upper field keep it from settling into stillness. Bright yellow appears like a flare within the movement, sharpening the tension between abundance and restraint. The black passages do more than contain the warmth; they create intervals where the eye can pause before being carried onward.

There is a theatrical quality to this encounter of radiance and shadow, yet the feeling remains open rather than predetermined. It may suggest celebration, desire, or the instant before a gesture reaches completion. The work holds these possibilities in suspension, allowing its force to come from the meeting of exuberance with the unknown.
