Under the pressure of converging beams, Rafters Drift turns an open shelter into a threshold between concealment and release. The structure seems to hold the night in place, while the warm opening beyond it suggests that darkness is not closed or empty, but waiting to be crossed. Its atmosphere belongs to the uncertain hour when familiar forms begin to feel privately charged.
The leaning ladder introduces a human scale without offering a clear destination. It rises toward the central darkness, where two winged silhouettes pass through the space like brief thoughts - present enough to disturb the stillness, too elusive to explain. Their movement gives the scene a delicate tension between refuge and departure.
Cool violet shadows gather beneath the rafters, yet the distant glow continues across the lower ground, drawing the eye beyond the shelter’s dense interior.
