An interior of charged passage, Paper Floor Threshold turns domestic architecture into a passage between invitation and uncertainty. The central corridor seems to draw the eye onward, yet its vivid thresholds resist any single destination. What appears familiar becomes newly alert, as though ordinary movement through a home has been lifted into a more animated state of mind.
The two red-topped stools hold the middle ground with a poised, almost expectant stillness. Around them, turquoise and orange assert different kinds of welcome: one expansive and open, the other more decisive, even slightly theatrical. The room does not settle into comfort alone; it carries the feeling of a place continually arranging itself around arrivals, departures, and pauses.
The patchwork floor gives this inward scene its strongest sense of momentum. Its receding blocks suggest that passage is never merely functional, but shaped by each small choice of direction and attention. Beyond the open sequence of doors, the space remains deliberately unresolved - less a destination than an ongoing invitation to move through the bright, shifting logic of the house.
