Between playful unease and tender companionship, Open Meadow considers how the unfamiliar can become gentle when encountered together. Two small, pale figures hover at the edge of the grasses, their simple faces carrying an expression that feels curious rather than threatening. Beside the open water, they seem less like apparitions than temporary visitors to a world that has made room for them.
The meadow holds this ambiguity in balance. Warm grasses gather around the figures while the distant tree line and cool water extend the scene into a calm, watchful distance. Their closeness suggests a shared pause - perhaps a moment of discovery, perhaps a quiet reassurance that need not be explained. The daylight softens the eerie premise without erasing it, leaving the work suspended between innocence and the unknown.
