OPAL DREAM FOREST - Oil Painting On Canvas By Leonid Afremov

The forest appears to hold its breath before Opal Dream Forest opens that pause into a realm of gentle unreality. Its tall trunks form a measured passage toward the luminous center, where distance feels less like departure than an invitation to remain attentive. The scene offers no fixed destination, only the sense that the ordinary world has briefly loosened its boundaries.

Around this opening, the trees gather in rounded, overlapping forms, creating a sheltered atmosphere that is both intimate and expansive. Turquoise, coral, lavender, and pink move through the foliage like shifting impressions of light, keeping the woodland from settling into a single season or time of day. The effect is serene without becoming still.

The repeated vertical trunks lend the image a quiet rhythm, yet the radiant space between them prevents that rhythm from becoming restrictive. It suggests a place encountered inwardly - not as an escape from reality, but as a moment when perception becomes more generous and the familiar begins to carry a little mystery.

Near the ground, clustered growth gathers into a soft threshold between the viewer and the distance beyond. Nothing announces itself as a symbol, though the central glow may evoke the promise of clarity after wandering through denser thought. The forest remains open-ended, preserving its enchantment in the space between recognition and dream.
