Between inward darkness and a sudden glow, Odd Motion turns a nocturnal pause into a study of alertness and restraint. The seated silhouette does not surrender its presence to the surrounding shadow; it seems held at the threshold of recognition, attentive to whatever the divided window permits beyond the room. Its stillness carries a slight tension, as though motion has been suspended rather than ended.

The window’s four illuminated sections give that suspension a measured rhythm. Warm light gathers there without resolving the darkness, creating the sense of an interior consciousness that remains private and watchful.
