At the heart of concentrated movement, Northern Lights Mandala turns a floral rhythm into a study of inwardness and expansion. Its slightly off-center green core feels less like a fixed destination than a point of gathering, where surrounding currents seem to find their temporary balance. The work invites attention to the moment when many directions become one.

The radial structure gives the composition a sense of growth without suggesting a literal bloom. Curved bands fold around the center in close succession, creating an atmosphere of continual emergence. The eye can move outward through turquoise and emerald passages before meeting the deeper blues and violets at the perimeter, as though brightness is being carried into a wider, more elusive field.

That movement is not entirely serene. The dense overlaps create pressure as well as harmony, recalling the way thought, memory, or feeling can gather in concentric waves.
