NARROW RESTING - FRAMED

Across a dark field, the interlocking forms of Narrow Resting hold movement in suspension, as though a passage has been interrupted just before it resolves. The rounded bands press toward one another without fully closing, creating a sense of stored momentum rather than simple stillness. Rust, ochre, charcoal, and muted green-brown give the composition an earthy gravity, while the deep contours make each junction feel weight-bearing.

The work’s drama gathers at these points of overlap, where direction becomes difficult to separate from resistance.
