Over the sky

Moving Sun is another canvas of Leonid Afremov from his seascape and water collection of oil paintings. Although it can only be called another with great reserve – it’s very unusual. The most unusual element that might catch your eye as soon as you look at this picture is of course the image of the sky –namely, the blue bar at the top of the painting. It seems that one heaven ends here and another begins – the real one, some kind of mundane. And what do we see under this sky? Absolutely amazing colors in the center of which lays the evening sun. It seems that the rain has just ended and the sun came out. But it is not strong yet, but nevertheless he has enough strength to create a bright orange spot in the sky. The painting is called Moving Sun. And it really moves – look at the shapes of the clouds in the sky – they are twisted into inconceivable loops, as if the sun threw a lasso on them trying to carry them along. It is namely it that creates such an unusually color range – in the sky we find such colors as

- violet

-  turquoise

- blue and many others.

And now let's look a little lower and we will see that not only the sky but also the sea is painted in these colors. Although here we find much more dark shades. And as always in the midst of the water surface we see a lonely ship swaying on the waves.
