MORNING RADIANCE
SHINE BRIGHT IN THE MORNING
Every morning is a new beginning. Each day you have a chance to completely change your life and become a person you have always wanted to be. Many successful people owe their success to getting up early in the mornings. While others slept peacefully in their beds, they worked out, wrote and read smart books. The history knows many examples: Benjamin Franklin, Ernest Hemingway etc.
However, people are very different one from another. Not everybody is really willing to wake up early. Moreover, some people are simply not productive in the mornings! Anyway, a traditional working day all over the world starts approximately from 7 to 9 o’clock in the morning. So, sometimes we have to get up early, even if we do not want to.
Luckily, there are ways to make our life simpler and brighter on such hard mornings.
- You can drink a big glass of orange juice or water that will immediately wake you up. Or, some people prefer coffee.
- Jogging in the morning is a nice way to wake up and contribute to your health at the same time. You can day any other physical activity that you prefer.
- You can make the space around you cozy and nice to brighten up your mood in the mornings. For example, you can buy some flowers and put them in beautiful bouquets around the house or flat. It will certainly inspire you!
ART AS A THERAPY
Not everybody likes or wants to purchase living flowers for various reasons. In this case, you can surround yourself with other beautiful objects, such as paintings.
Look at this pretty spring still life by Leonid Afremov. This painting reminds us of spring in Saigon where this flower is delivered to the market by local farmers by bicycles. A large bouquet of chamomile for many people is a symbol of summer and good mood. Leonid Afremov’s art cannot be understood without knowing what impressionism is. He is inspired by a constantly changing nature of things around him. Everything is temporary, and the most important thing for an artist in this situation is to capture the moment. Painting flowers is very typical for impressionists and postimpressionists, since their life is beautiful but short.
As usually, Afremov bases the composition of the painting on contrasts. For him, a color palette has always been more important than shapes and lines. However, this canvas is pretty cold, unlike many other. White and clear blue together create a sensation of freshness.
