MAX — A vivid feline portrait commands attention through saturated color, expressive texture, and an unwavering direct gaze. The tightly cropped composition brings the animal’s character forward, creating an immediate focal point with dramatic visual energy.

The face is built from dense, raised strokes that shift between cobalt, navy, turquoise, violet, red, orange, yellow, gold, white, silver, and pale gray. Two greenish-yellow eyes glow from the center, outlined in dark marks that heighten their intensity. Angular passages radiate around the pointed ears, while pale strokes shape the muzzle and lower face. Strong highlights catch the textured surface, giving the eyes, muzzle, and surrounding marks a glossy, reflective presence. The result is a highly tactile abstract expressionist image with sharply segmented color blocks and palette-knife-like impasto.

Its centered, front-facing arrangement suits spaces that benefit from a bold conversational accent, whether displayed among contemporary pieces or used to energize a quieter room. The combination of animal presence, saturated color, and pronounced surface movement can complement modern, eclectic, and color-forward interiors. Particularly appealing to viewers drawn to expressive animal imagery, dramatic eye contact, and richly worked painterly surfaces.
