This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
LUMINOUS PATTERN explores an arrangement of bold angular geometric shapes, cut by thin bright streaks, shaped by scraped textures through layered palette knife textures and sculptural strokes.
Bold impasto ridges catch shifting light, while scraped passages reveal underlying hues and tonal variation.
The composition invites close viewing, highlighting movement, contrast, and expressive material presence.

Across its fractured field of tension, Luminous Pattern 1 turns geometric order into an active state of becoming. Angular forms press against one another without settling into a single structure, while narrow intervals of brightness suggest movement through an otherwise concentrated darkness. The work feels less like a fixed arrangement than a moment of pressure, where balance is continually tested and renewed.
A horizontal division gives the composition a provisional threshold, but the pointed forms rising above it resist any sense of calm separation. Their upward direction carries an intensity that can feel architectural, emblematic, or entirely inward. Beneath them, overlapping planes gather into a denser rhythm, creating the impression of thought accumulating faster than it can be resolved.
Warm passages near the center and lower middle interrupt the cooler surrounding structure with a subdued pulse. They do not soften the work so much as complicate its severity, allowing energy and uncertainty to coexist. A small pale mark near the lower-right edge remains almost private within the larger design, a final accent that keeps the composition open rather than conclusive.
