This painting looks tridimensional and has a lot of heavy textures
This painting presents layered ridges receding into the distance under clear daylight. Each ridge catches light differently, creating depth without contrast. Colors transition smoothly, using soft greens and pale golds. The scene feels spacious and steady. The ridges form a calm visual rhythm, enhancing the peaceful mood of the fantasy landscape.

The work holds a sustained meditation on distance and return, and Luminous Day Ridges opens that meditation through a horizon where radiance seems to gather rather than announce itself. The distant ridges do not appear to lead toward a destination so much as to extend the present, each successive form making spaciousness feel tangible. A warm opening beneath the clouds gives the scene its quiet charge, suggesting that illumination can arrive gradually and remain unresolved.
The mist-filled valley draws the eye inward without narrowing the world. It offers a sense of passage, though not necessarily movement - more a suspended interval between what is near and what has receded. The deep foreground shadows lend this stillness weight, keeping the expansive view from becoming weightless or merely idyllic.
Above the ridges, the broad cloud forms introduce a larger rhythm, shifting the painting from landscape into reflection on changing conditions. Light reaches the far peaks while the nearer slopes remain withheld, creating a delicate tension between disclosure and reserve. The result is serene, but not passive: its calm contains distance, weather, and the promise of further change.
