I would like to present my hand painted oil on canvas painting (recreation) of the artwork LONELY EVENING SEA. The artwork has texture, you can feel the strokes by touching the painting. By purchasing on this site, you are buying directly from the artist Leonid Afremov. I guarantee your satisfaction and the best customer experience.

about this painting:

Pre-dawn creek

Do you like sea voyages? Clang of gulls in the sky? Warm and bright rays of the summer sun? If your answer is yes then this painting is apparently for you. With it, the atmosphere of the lonely sea will always be present in your apartment. Just look at this sky. Have you ever seen anything like this? On it perhaps you can find all the shades of colors that can be present in the sky – deep and light blue, red, orange, this list is far from being complete. On the sky you can clearly see the line of clouds that are settled in the form of clear layer extended to the horizon. The blue color is splashed in the very center of the heavenly surface. The sun has not yet managed to paint this place with its rays. Perhaps it was a storm that has raged in the sea that left such traces in this pre-dawn sky. The artist skilfully depicted the reflection of the sun's rays on the lonely sea surface. It seems that they divide it into two parts. With distance from the reflection of the rays, the water becomes darker. It  gets painted in blue, dark blue, violet and even turquoise shades. Such a bright yellow sun can only be seen on the Equator. The rays of this sun, perhaps, can warm everyone wherever he is - in an apartment somewhere in a cold country or in a hut somewhere in the tropics flooded with constant rains. At the very center of the painting we see a certain vessel - maybe it's a fishing schooner or a small yacht. In the distance, you can see at least four similar ships. Perhaps even they are sent somewhere and swim in a caravan to some distant lands. Looking at this picture you will also have a desire to go to some distant journey you have long dreamed about. Well, we wish you good luck!

Shore sweet shore!

Orienting on the water in the lonely sea, or rather on the high seas is not as easy as many might think. That is why many seafarers accumulated different knowledge to always be able to navigate and swim in the right direction. It is important to take into account that swimming in the seas is always associated with various nuances. Let’s name the most wide spread of them:

  1. if dolphins gather in large jambs then most likely there will soon be a storm
  2. If the cormorant appears in unfamiliar and unexplored shores, you can be sure of the approach of reefs.
  3. Constellations will be able to accurately tell you what, where and how can be found.

I just received my two paintings yesterday (just one month after I placed my order). I could not be happier!!! My husband and I have been working on our house for the past 6 years, and we finally finished our living room. It needed some love and colors on the walls. Once we put them up (as soon as we got them) it just brighten up the room, it looks gorgeous. I feel so luck I have found you Mr. Leonid. Your art is just beautiful and makes me so happy just to look at them. Love how you over came the difficult times and now you can share your art and talent with us. Feel very special to have your two paintings on my walls. I will definitely order more in the future! Thank you!!!!!!
