LINEAR LAYOUT - FRAMED

Across its measured field of intervals and interruptions, Linear Layout sets up a negotiation between order and impulse. Rectangular forms seem to seek alignment, yet their uneven boundaries keep the arrangement from settling into a fixed system. The result feels less like a diagram than a structure in the act of becoming, where clarity and disruption remain equally present.

The vivid red vertical block gives that tension a point of insistence, while the nearby blues and turquoises open the composition outward. Color behaves here as pressure and counterpressure rather than decoration: some passages advance, others recede, and the pale surrounding space allows each interruption to retain its force. The work’s energy comes from this continual adjustment between separation and connection.

Toward the center, warmer and darker notes gather into a denser exchange, suggesting a rhythm that cannot be reduced to repetition. The small white mark near the lower right introduces a more personal-looking gesture without resolving the abstraction into a message. What remains is an open, active order - precise enough to invite scrutiny, unsettled enough to reward return.
