The fog covers the sky from us, and the silent tress are plunging their black branches into its impenetrable whiteness. However, on the left no trace of the fog can be seen, and the bright trees are feeling the mild sunlight on their trembling leaves. And on the right there are doleful shadows lying on the ground by the leafless trees. You see two persons on the road, whose silhouettes, the first one absolutely dark, the second one painted with the yellow sunlight, are disappearing in the distance.
