Within a flowering wilderness, Light Season presents an octopus as a creature of unexpected belonging, suspended between marine memory and the exuberance of a garden. Its curling form gathers the surrounding abundance without becoming fully absorbed by it, suggesting a life that moves according to a different order. The encounter feels fantastical, yet the visible eye and deliberate tentacles keep it alert and distinctly present.
The dark branches behind the figure create a shifting framework, as though the garden were continually rearranging itself around this visitor. White and yellow blossoms punctuate the dense foliage, while warmer notes around the octopus give its presence a pulse of seasonal energy. Rather than offering a fixed emblem, the work allows nature to appear unruly, generous, and capable of crossing its own boundaries.
Rows of suction cups remain clearly visible along the tentacles, bringing an intimate physical detail into an otherwise dreamlike setting. That precision complicates the scene: the creature is not merely a whimsical interruption, but an active intelligence navigating a world of stems, leaves, and flowers. The result holds wonder and strangeness together, leaving the garden open to forms of life that do not follow familiar categories.
