LAYERED TEXTURE - FRAMED

Across its tightly gathered blocks, Layered Texture turns color into a kind of inner architecture. The luminous center appears to hold its ground against the deeper purples, blues, and charcoals around it, creating the impression of a place where intensity is concentrated rather than released. Its arrangement feels deliberate yet unsettled, as though order is continually being rebuilt from separate fragments.

The central yellows and creams do not simply brighten the composition; they establish a pressure point. Around them, cooler surrounding forms create a sense of enclosure, while the coral and orange notes suggest warmth pressing outward. The work holds these forces in suspension, allowing radiance and shadow to remain interdependent rather than resolving into a single mood.

Beneath the central passage, the horizontal band introduces a second register, recalling a reflection without becoming a literal image. It gives the composition a downward echo, as if the surrounding structures are being reconsidered below the point of greatest brightness. That subtle doubling makes the picture feel less like a fixed arrangement than a moment of balance, vivid and precarious at once.
