The artwork has texture, you can feel the strokes by touching the painting. By purchasing on this site, you are buying directly from the artist Leonid Afremov. I guarantee your satisfaction and the best customer experience.

about this painting:

INTO THE WIND

SAILING FOR DUMMIES

Nowadays sailing is believed to be a sport for the most privileged and rich members of our society. The cost of yachts and sailboats are not affordable to the majority of people, not to mention the equipment and private lessons on how to manage this vessel.

This is a shame because this kind of sport is really very romantic and gives you a possibility to feel united with nature. Just imagine: mild wind arising from the sea, last rays of the sunset and salty seawater drops on your skin – isn’t it perfect? The best thing about it is an all-absorbing feeling of freedom and happiness that every sailor experiences. Of course, this sport is also one of the most dangerous ones, especially for those who do not know how to swim well. However, every man who experienced sailing will tell that it is worth it.

FREEDOM ON CANVAS

Leonid Afremov is famous all over the world for his picturesque landscapes, which seem to be real. He also creates portraits, still lives and everything that deserves to be called beautiful.

  • He started to develop his expressive original manner back in Soviet times in Belarus.
  • A unique manner of combining colors and applying them on canvas is one of the keys to his success as an artists. His fans love how cheerful and happy all his paintings are, and are more than ready to bring this energy to their homes by buying them.
  • During the years, Afremov travelled a lot; he visited many capital cities and lived in different countries. This way he got to know new artistic techniques and obtained more advanced skills, nowadays allowing him to create true masterpieces.

On this sailing painting, he tried to depict the wind and a boat, which is trying to resist the power of nature. The background is painted in all the colors of a Southern sunset from dark and navy blue to burning red, orange and white. It is amazing how he managed to show the ever-changing temper of the sea, where a splendid sunny weather can momently change to a terrible storm.

Hopefully, by putting a beautiful nature painting in your home, you can help yourself to create a better, more relaxed and happy atmosphere inside. The majority of us cannot afford going in vacation to the seashore every time we feel stressed. Yet, a colorful canvas on your wall can help you to deal with stresses of your life.

Testimonials
Just received my painting. I love, love, love it! I wish I had room for more. Every painting of yours tells a story! Thank you!

I received my 3 paintings- kiss of passion waltz and sea of feelings in December and am so pleased. I chose 2 intimate paintings for the bedroom and they go so well. Walz is admired by everyone who visits. Delivered to the UK stretched, hassle free and intact. Still can't decide whether I should frame them. Really are recreations and not copies as there are differences in the originals shown so that's reassuring. Worth every penny. Thank you Mr Afremov.
