about this painting:
In the heart of Switzerland
If you are looking for a cheap wall art, landscape is always a safe bet. It looks chic but price is reasonable on it. It can be a budget variant even when such luxury place as Interlaken is depicted on it.
The painting “Interlaken”, created by Leonid Afremov, looks fantastic. It is created in Impressionism style. Impressionism is, primarily, something unearthly, ephemeral, something that is inevitably slipping away. Is it possible to capture this exciting moment? This is something that the eye can hardly manage to capture. It remains in the memory as a moment of the highest harmony. Masters of Impressionism are famous for their ability to transfer this wonderful moment on the canvas, providing a real feeling to it. When such canvas wall art landscapes decorate the interior, we can experience subtle vibrations that occur in reality during interaction with the painting. When you look at creations of outstanding artists of this style, their artworks always leave the sensations and we remain in a sort of aftertaste mood.
Exceptional nature of Interlaken
The picture INTERLAKEN, SWITZERLAND leaves us dazed with admiration. One famous composer expressed the view that it is impossible to know Switzerland without knowing Interlaken. The scenery is amazing and the words are powerless here. It is better to paint your impressions the way Leonid Afremov did and he succeeded in it. We can enjoy excellent Swiss landscape thanks to his great work. Interlaken is located in the heart of Switzerland, between two lakes that contribute to the beauty of the place. Crystal clear mountain streams, roaring waterfalls, pristine rivers, deep blue lakes are an integral part of the Interlaken and its surroundings.
Unique climate of the place
The climate here is subalpine, mild. There is, practically, no fog and chilly winds, as well as sudden changes in temperature. This is so due to the unique natural features of the place:
· Deciduous and coniferous forests that surround the city,
· Proximity of the glaciers in the mountains.
If you look at the hillside, the road is, for the most part, steep, with a very winding serpentine going along the deep valley and a massive mountain system on the background that make for grandiose landscape. The peasants’ houses are scattered around the valley and some are in the field with no path leading to them, so it is not quite clear how to get there.
