HOLLOW GEOMETRY - FRAMED

A threshold held between opposing silences, Hollow Geometry turns an entrance into a state of suspension. Its passage does not seem to lead toward a known destination; instead, it gathers attention around the instant before arrival, when direction is felt more strongly than certainty. The concentrated brightness within the opening gives that pause a sense of invitation without resolving it.

The vertical planes inside the passage carry a charged, almost inward-moving rhythm. Teal, yellow, orange, and violet do not settle into a single atmosphere; they suggest successive impressions, as though the way forward were composed of changing states rather than fixed distance. The light at the center remains open to both welcome and estrangement.

Around this intensity, the blue walls create a measured enclosure. Their breadth makes the opening feel less like a simple doorway than a narrow interval cut through something more enduring, a place where the outside world has been reduced to quiet edges. The small recessed detail at left quietly reinforces that sense of withheld access.

What remains compelling is the balance between clarity and uncertainty. The architecture is recognizable enough to invite memory, yet altered enough to resist becoming a particular place. The pale foreground seems to carry the passage outward, allowing the work to hover between inward retreat and the possibility of emergence.
