Between receding streets and gathered silence, Hidden Rhythm finds a measured pulse in the act of moving through a city. The central pair, seen from behind, seem less like defined characters than fellow travelers briefly held within the same current. Their differing coats create a small human cadence against the pale avenue, where distance opens into an atmosphere of suspension.

The street does not lead toward a destination so much as draw attention into the interval before arrival. A diffuse glow gathers at its center, while the darker buildings on either side keep the surrounding world partially withheld. In the wet pavement, broken reflections extend the figures downward, suggesting that the city continues beneath what can be immediately seen.

That tension between forward movement and lingering presence gives the work its contemplative force. The smaller figures farther along the avenue make the scene feel inhabited without turning it into a narrative, as though many private journeys briefly share one corridor of light. Bright accents appearing at the edges return the eye to the living rhythm of the street, where solitude and companionship remain unresolved but closely joined.
